Did you know most of the deep sea is still a mystery? The Mariana Trench is the deepest place on Earth, and very few people have ever seen it. Down there it’s dark, cold, and under extreme pressure — but sea life has found amazing ways to survive! Explore the science behind the deep sea and use your knowledge and imagination to design your very own deep-sea creature.
Dive Into the Deep Sea!
From the sunlit surface to the mysterious Mariana Trench, our Deep Sea Workshop takes kids on an unforgettable journey through the ocean’s many layers. Together, we’ll explore coral reefs, underwater volcanoes, and the strange, wonderful creatures that call the deep sea home.
Children will be fascinated as they discover the unique ways sea creatures have adapted to survive in these extreme environments—then use their creativity to design and build their own deep-sea creature!
So Much More Than Just Ocean Facts!
Our workshop is packed with STEAM learning, science experiments, hands-on building, and creative art projects. Kids are kept busy and inspired the whole time by:
Learning about the layers of the ocean—from the sunlit zone to the abyss
Discovering the Mariana Trench and the mysteries it holds
Exploring coral reefs and how they support ocean life
Investigating underwater volcanoes and their impact on habitats
Studying the unique adaptations of deep-sea creatures
Designing, drawing, and building their own imaginative sea creature
Completing art projects that bring the ocean world to life
Plus a few secret “splashy” surprises!

Suitable for ages 6–12
Ratio of 1 adult for every 10 students
Can be adapted for different time frames:
2 hours – $40 per child
6 hours – $100 per child
10 hours – $150 per child
All materials are included
Programs can be run for homeschool, after school, classrooms, or community groups
