The Science Behind WHOA
Each Drop Thought workshop is based around an “I wonder…” question.and explores the 4 key phases in the WHOA mindset.
W is to Wonder—get curious and ask questions.
H is to Harness skills—research, experiment, and find the facts.
O is to Open up—notice your own biases and listen to different perspectives.
A is to Arrive—decide, innovate, and problem-solve.
When kids learn to pause, ask questions, and explore, they’re building strong, flexible brains that adapt to challenges. Critical thinking lowers stress, boosts confidence, and encourages kids to see possibilities instead of problems. It strengthens listening and communication skills, fuels creativity and innovation, and prepares children to thrive in a tech-driven future. Most importantly, it deepens connections with family and peers—because real growth happens when we think, share, and wonder together
